Cantine Povero Description
Priore is a vigorous and important Barolo, aged for 28 months in oak barrels. With a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is intense and evolves from violet and withered rose to "goudron". The taste is dry, warm and full.

Quite an austere wine with aromas of earth, tar, lush dried cherries, pomegranates and dried flowers. Full-bodied and firm on the palate, with almost sour flavors, dusty yet ripe and woven tannins, some waxy character and a graphite finish. It will need time for better integration. Try after 2026.
